| I was introduced to the Donna Dewberry ONE Stroke Painting Technique. I tried it, I loved it and I was Hooked!!! I became a ONE Stroke Certified Instructor (OSCI) in January 2001. |

After my
certification I returned home with such vigor, I
wanted to share my experience with everyone. I immediately began
teaching the ONE Stroke technique. I am very
happy with the ability to share my love of painting
with so many others.
My husband
Lawrence and I created a company we call "BEYOND
BORDERS" the name signifies that ONE Stroke painting
lets you go beyond borders; you can paint any surface
from watches to walls. In June 2003 we had the
pleasure of hosting the first Western Canadian ONE
Stroke Teachers Certification with Donna Dewberry and
her husband Marc. There were 100 students who
attended the seminar in Surrey. The evening before
the seminar we held a "Meet and Greet" for the Public
to meet Donna. There were approximately 300 in
attendance. Donna greeted each and every one with a
smile and a hug.
I attend
Seminars (hosted by Donna) in Florida at least twice a
year to upgrade my painting skills and I have had the
opportunity to progress in the ONE Stroke family. In
January 2004 I reached the level of "Certifying Elite
Instructor" and in June of 2004 I had the opportunity
to teach the "Teachers Certification Seminar" in
Surrey.
In February
of 2005 I (along with the other ONE Stroke Certifying
Team) attended a training seminar in Florida. It was
announced that Dewberry Designs had added another
level to the ONE Stroke Program. I am so proud to
represent Donna Dewberry and Dewberry Designs as
Canada’s Certifying Elite Director.
It is my goal
as an Elite Director to hold regional certifications
across Canada. I am very thankful and feel very
blessed to have the opportunity to share my love of
painting with so many others and I am very grateful to
Marc and Donna Dewberry to have given me this
wonderful opportunity.
Dewberry Designs National Education Trainers
Donna Dewberry has appointed 4 National Education
Trainers to bring her newest product mix and
instructions to all regions in North America.
Donna has asked me to
hold the training camps for Canada.
I have accepted the
position with great honour and I will be offering new
training camps several times a year in many regions of
Canada. I will be working directly with Kim Barone,
Jill Liljenquist and Julie Motley under the direction
of Donna and the Education Team at Dewberry Designs.
This new program
is going to let us offer extra training and education
to One Stroke Certified Instructors (OSCI) and other
interested Painters. Each season will offer different
material and showcase new products.

I also hold
Private Lessons
at my home studio in the
Surrey/Langley area. A One on One private lesson is a great way to learn a lot
in a short time. You can take a one-hour lesson for $30.00 or two-hours for
$50.00. All the supplies are included in the cost of the lesson
Training
Camps are not just for instructors but for anyone that
may be interested in becoming an instructor at a later
date. You will complete two or three projects designed by
Donna and you will see demonstrations of new
products. The Training Camps will be offered in many
regions across Canada.
